Gear Pumps
Manufactured by Shimadzu
High and Medium Pressure — Suction pressures up to 700 psi (50 bar), discharge pressures up to 3,550 psi (245 bar), and temperatures up to 535 °F (280 °C). Two types are available:
Extraction Pumps: These pumps feature a large suction opening to promote filling of gear teeth when suction pressure is at full vacuum. The jacketed housing is stainless steel; gears/ shafts are one piece construction, made from nitrided alloy steel; bearings are of alloy tool steel.
Booster Pumps: These are designed for high suction pressure. Otherwise, they have the same design features as the extraction pump model.
Chemical/Prepolymer Pumps — Up to 435 psi (30 bar) and 428 °F (220 °C).
These are stainless steel pumps with internal, product lubricated bearings. Foot mounting provided to accommodate axial couplings. Pumps can be bidirectional, depending on seal. Single mechanical seals standard, double mechanical, gland packing, or lip seals are available.
